Our Offset Projects
PATT Foundation is able to provide high quality voluntary carbon offsets to both individuals and business wanting to offset their emissions through a voluntary offset scheme. Our expertise is in reforestation, as such our carbon offsets are generated through the establishment of indigenous native forests.
PATT Foundation does not purchase and resell offsets from a third party project. We implement, manage and oversee all our own offset projects. We do work in partnership with local people and organizations and own staff are integral in the implementation of all offset projects. We feel this approach assures the quality and success of the project. Our offset projects produce high quality offsets that not only address climate change but also a number of additional social and environmental issues. These co-benefits help to maintain and enhance local biodiversity, prevent soil erosion, improve water quality, and provide income, livelihoods and resources for indigenous communities.
At present PATT offers two levels of carbon offsets: Premium and Standard. Both types of offset achieve a number of co-benefits in addition to the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere.
