PATT has considerable experience and expertise in developing projects based around habitat restoration, reforestation, community development and environmental education. Funding opportunities are available to companies who would like to work with PATT to initiate such a project.
We aim to raise these funds through corporate sponsorship. Businesses have an opportunity to receive naming rights on projects they fund completely and there is considerable scope to use the project for staff social events, volunteering opportunities and for publicity purposes.
In particular we have a number of planting sites available to plant your own company forest. Small, medium and large scale plantings can be undertaken on your behalf. For all company forests, the staff, friends and families can also have a great ‘hands on’ experience and plant some (or all!) of the trees themselves. We will arrange all the logistics of a company tree planting event for you. This is also a fantastic team building activity.
The company forest sponsorship cost covers the land preparation (weeding and clearing of non-native vegetation), purchase of suitable native trees and post-planting care of the trees (weeding, fire prevention, watering). The cost also includes the organisation of a tree planting event for your company. Events can include weekends away, BBQs, winery tours and other team building activities. Additional costs for a company event not covered by the sponsorship include transport, extra activities, food and accommodation (if required).
