NIVA International School celebrated the King’s Birthday by planting 500 trees.

Location: Suansri Park, Phra Padaeng, Thailand
Date: 4th December 2015
No. of trees planted: 500 Trees

It’s a busy Friday morning with 150 kids and parents to explore the nature and show their loves to our His Majesty the King of Thailand on Father’s Day to plant 500 trees at Suansri Park, Phrapadaeng. All of them were so happy with the blissful feeling to “Go Green for Dad”.

As we had the big groups so we split them to 5 groups and did rotation for each learning activity. The activities were nursery potting, tree planting, nature trail walk, leaf print, and free time to roam free in the nice park. The young and energetic kids were enjoyed all activities very much and yes asked a lot of questions. Many of them potted tree for our king as this was the good way to show how they love their king and be good for him and Thailand.

Due to that day was the most important day of Thailand, we had 3 more groups to visit the park such as “Bike For Dad” schools kids and also officers from Port Authorities of Thailand also run their activities at the same park.

They all loved to collect the Pongpong seed and loved to feed the fish. The 5 rounds of teaching for our staff finish with happiness. We got a lot of smiles and excitements from these small but brave kids as well as we hope they would turn to be the quality citizens for our beloved country Thailand.

Hugh thanks to the parents and teachers to make these happened beautifully and also the park staff who took care of the little ones so well with love smiles on everyone’s face!
